This 01/07/1962 registered Triumph TR4 is a genuine British RHD car. Showing 5 previous keepers on the V5C.
Previous owner to who we acquired the car from had owned it since 1985 and sold it 12/2017 to a private car collector.
The Racing Green paintwork is lovely, genuinely nice gaps throughout. The chrome work is wonderful, no major pitting or corrosion. The interior is trimmed in Black and looks factory fresh. With a Mota-Lita steering wheel fitted, the original ‘white dash’ looks superb!
The drivetrain is superb, having been recently checked over/refreshed where necessary. The engine being a mild ‘fast road’ specification, it certainly goes well. The cooling system has been upgraded to an alloy radiator with a header tank to keep it cool when driving through the South of France for example. Also has the addition of an electric cooling fan & uprated heater valve.
The chrome wire wheels are in particularly good condition, the tyres are as new. The suspension has been rebuilt where necessary and the addition of a rear telescopic damper conversion.
Recent works carried out (2019-2020) by marque specialist TR Enterprises includes...
Camcoat of the manifold, replace distributor with a fully rebuild ‘competition' unit from Distributor Doctor, refurbish of the original seats, 2 speed wiper conversion, replaced wiring loom, fully rebuilt gearbox, install electric fuel pump conversion, installed alloy sump guard, alloy lamp bar & lights, towing eyes, harness bar & harness’s, heated front screen.
Invoices in the history file amount to around £25000.00 of work carried out in the last 2 years.
