A nicely presented Triumph TR4 first registered in August 1964. A genuine British, RHD vehicle equipped with overdrive.
The bodywork presents well in its factory Powder blue with good gaps while sat on standard TR4 steel wheels and hubcaps. The car is equipped with a genuine metal Surrey top also painted in body colour.
Internally the vehicle has the desirable Midnight Blue trim, it’s original white metal dashboard, a wood-rimmed Moto-Lita steering wheel & wooden gear knob. Rubber floor mats are fitted to protect the carpets.The car was subjected to a comprehensive recommission in 2018 and included the following work – Full suspension rebuild – Rebuilt braking system inc metal lines – Clutch pipes/lines replaced – Full service including gearbox/axle oils – All rubber water & fuel hoses replaced – Complete new wiring loom installed – Carburettors rebuilt as necessary – New Surrey top fitted.
As part of the recommission, a summary of the parts fitted. Front brake callipers, discs & Mintex pads – Rear wheel cylinders, shoes, drums & adjusters etc – Handbrake cables – Steering rack – Poly suspension bush kit ,top fulcrum pins ,lower trunnions, ball joints, stub axles – Anti-knock off kit with Timken bearings – Propshaft – Rear uprated dampers & drop links – Wiring loom – Magnecor lead set – Clutch master & slave cylinder. On the road the car is a delight to drive with no unwanted knocks or bangs. The engine pulls well with good oil pressure. The gearbox works as intended and the overdrive is operational. The rear axle has no untoward noises.
This TR4 will come fully serviced from our partner company TR Enterprises, 12 months MOT and 12 month subscription to the TR Register.
