Vehicle Description
Here we have a wonderful example of a bumpered MGB GT.

We purchased this car from a deceased estate of a last engineer who had cherished this car for a long time.

Records show that this vehicle was extensively restored in the mid 1990's including the body, drive line, brakes and suspension. It is evident that it has been used sparingly since!

When we purchasede the car it had been passed down to the deceased gentlemans daughter who has ambitions to "recommision" the car after a period of time parked up. Sadly this didnt materialise and thus we carried out the recommisioning! this included a new brake master cylinder, wheel cylinders etc. The front brakes were stripped down and brought to a servicable condition and all of the igintion consumables were renewed. All the oil front to back have also been changed and the fuel tank was removed, drained and washed of any debris.

As a result of the able the car is now wonderful to drive. it developes ample power front its 4cyl engine while delivering it to the rear wheels through a smooth 4 speed gearbox with an excellent overdrive too. The engine is free of any overheating while developing perfect oil pressure both from hot and cold too. The engine is smooth and produces its power without drama, misfires or unwanted smoke from the exhaust!

The bodywork is in fine condition with the door gaps presenting in near perfect condition. The seams at the tops of the wings are without any obvious corrosion too. The interior is again a wonderful place to be with the seat hardware, door cards, dash and headlining seemingly remaining original to the car and without any damage or obvious wear.

A great starter classic for any budding enthusiast or even a great addition to a growing collection.
