Our 1964 1/2 Ford Mustang is now for sale and looking for a new stable.
The car was previously imported to Spain in 2016 where it was restored to a high standard before being Imported to the UK in 2021. The car is UK registered has been sat in a private collection before coming to us.
The restoration was done very thoroughly and the paintwork, finished in rare Twilight Turquoise really sets the car off from the rest.
The car sits on a set of chrome American racing Torq Thrust cast aluminium wheels wrapped in fresh rubber.
The original 260 engine has been replaced by a more punchy 289 unit which provides plenty of power driven through the wheels by its desirable factory 3-speed manual gearbox.
The stock yet all renewed brakes and suspension perform brilliantly even with the upgraded power unit. The 289 engine has been rebuilt from bottom to top and has been fitted with an Edelbrock performance carburettor and inlet manifold along with a tubular exhaust manifold system and electronic ignition. Furthermore, an aftermarket air conditioning system is now in the car providing a cool climate for those warmer summer days.
The interior has had as much attention as the exterior, being replaced for new all in black but as original with the exception of the new air conditioning and a new stereo.
