Rover Mini 35th anniversay
Here is one fabulous example of a “modern” classic mini. This is a genuine 35th anniversary Mini originally supplied new in Japan before being imported into the UK in 2010. This Mini has covered just 22,000 miles from new documented through its comprehensive and thorough history file including its original stamped service book. Various letter and service documents Along with a great MOT history too. Being a Japanese import the car is equipped with Air conditioning from new which works perfectly. And it has retained a completely rust free body shell too! The leather Interior is “as new” too. Most recently this example has been “back dated” to resemble an early Mini Cooper “S”. This includes different bumpers, wheel arch and sill trims, bonnet/boot and front/rear lights too. The drive shafts and hubs were exchanged for new early “S” equivalents so that the car was able to be shod with 10” Cooper S wheels and period correct racing tyres too. 1963 MG B ROADSTER
An older restoration built to a relatively standard spec but for an Unleaded head conversion
Just 5 former keepers from new with a wonderful history file and with a credible mileage of just 54,000 miles from new. This vehicle is still supplied today with its two 6 volt batteries as per factory spec. There is a full detailed breakdown of a full engine rebuild undertaken within the last 1500 miles of use (in 2010) where no stone was left un-turned along with a gearbox rebuild around the same time. The colour combination is as per its factory spec (tartan red coachwork and black trim) all of which is wonderfully presentable. All in all this is a wonderful example of an honest, usable and desirable early MG B with is begging to be used.
1959 Citroen 2CV 425cc "Crinkle bonnet"
Here we have a wonderful example of a "patina'd" Citroen 2CV. Imported into the UK in 2015 This vehicle has spent the majority of its life in the south of france where it has repainted completely "rust free" even with regular use. Supplied with its original egine which starts "on the button" and developes ample power through its smooth gearbox and Axle. This 2CV is just perfect as a "useable" unrestored example. The doors have been replaced with some "safari" open sided doors with the tops finished with leather (the original doors are also supplied with the car) The underside of the vehicle is remarkably solid/rust free with the floors, foot wells and boot floor presenting "as new". The inner wheel arches are also incredibly solid. There is no evidence anywhereo n the vehiucle of any previous repairs etc structurely. The bodywork presents very well with that "used" feeling throughout giving the "old shoe" feeling when driving. Find another example with such fantastic character while remaining in fine mechanical fettle !
1968/F Daimler Sovereign 4.2 manual O/D
- A great rolling project -
A wonderful opportunity to purchase a rare Daimler Sovereign factory manual O/D. This is a car that we took in part exchange earlier this year. While it is completely road worthy (having been MOT's in june 2020 by its former keeper) their are areas for improvement aesthetically. Firstly the body. Although the car itself is very solid there are areas all over the coach work that require attention caused by "micro blistering" - With this in mind, to get the car to its previous "show condition" we would recommend a full respay. Aside from this the mechanicals are very good. The engine, gearbox and rear axle are nice and smooth giving a great feelback when wafting down the road! Most recently it has been subjected to various different works including replacement brake discs and pads all around and work to all 4 jacking points completed by a well known restoration firm. this work together was completed at the cost of over £5,000. The inteior presents well with a "patina'd" feel to the seats. Other than a small area of the headling that requires work the interior we feel should be left "as is" due to its originality! A great opportunity to obtain a usuable "rolling" project.
