First of all, before we get to the facts….. WHAT A CAR. WE have never experienced anything like this from a Lotus before. This car has been built and “re-worked” to pack even more punch. With a proven 292BHP on a rolling road print out supplied through a 6 speed gearbox while bolted to a car waying just 800KG. This vehicle just ooses with excitement from the way it looks to the way that it goes…

Now all of that excitement is out of the way – its time for the facts.

First of all the vehicle was first registered in November 2006 to the first of 4 owners. Starting life in chrome orange paintwork before sadly suffering cosmetic damage to the front clam while in possession of the second owner resulting in the vehicle ultimately being rebuilt by the third owner..

After this damage was sustained the vehicle was bought by Mr Nicholas Ives who set about creating the vehicle that it is today….Firstly setting about the bodywork…. This vehicle has had upgraded front and rear “GT3” clams fitted which are supplied with “aero catches” along with a 260 cup roof,carbon fibre spoiler, splitter and diffuser before being professionally re-sprayed Lotus Motorsport green. At the time of the rebuild it was also equipped with 4 new LED lights and LED indicators built into the light clusters along with all new seals etc. upon the rebuild the interior was also upgraded with  full “sports” and “touring” packs being fitted. This includes “Probax” seats with alcantara inserts, carpets (including the sills and rear bulkhead!) working A/C and a stereo system (bluebooth ready) and electric windows. furthermore there is a alcantara MOMO steering wheel and large amounts of carbon fibre.

So on top of all of that equipment, there is now the important bit –  The performance! So first of all the engine spec – This vehicle is fitted with the follow parts: Pro alloy charge cooler, Pro alloy triple water rad, 2bular 3″ exhaust system and manifold (De-cat – CAT also supplied),550cc injectors, cup 260 fuel pump, TRD air filter, 2.9″ supercharger pulley, Exedy clutch, gearbox rebuild with JUBU 3rd and 4th gears.

This Mod’s are delivered through a LSD and a fully re-worked suspension including all new OEM ball joints, powder coated wish bones, Nitron rose joints, Nitron 1 ways shocks (supplied with dynographs) and new hubs. It has been fitted with AP292 fron brake discs, ragid RS14 brake pads front and rear, braided brake hoses and a new handbrake cable. The wheels are (fronts) 16x7 and (rears) 16x9 “team dynamics 1.2 alloys fitted with Yokohama A048 tyres all around (30mm spaces have been fitted due to the flared rear wheel arches)

Overall the parts fitted to this vehicle would most likely cost more than this vehicle is available for. This is a seriously fast yet usable Exige – incredibly the modifications that have been made to this vehicle havent made this vehicle any harder to drive.
