2003/03 PORSCHE 911 996 TURBO MANUAL 9e30 PERFORMANCE COUPE – Firstly, What a car this is. A completely reworked version of the 996 turbo the 9e30 conversion enhances the performance of this vehicle massively. The conversion completed by “nine excellence” in Surrey (9e) developed the 9e30 package to propel a 996 turbo from 0-300KMPH in just 30 seconds utilising its 3.6L twin turbo 600+ BHP power unit.

One of the most important elements of the build of this vehicle was the high quality of the car itself. This vehicle is both low mileage and maintained to a very high standard making it a very good basis.

The conversion itself was completed in June 2016 and has covered just 1500 miles since. The spec of the conversion kit is as follows: BMC panel air filter, enlarged alloy intake manifold to turbos, IPD intake plenium, 83mm GT3 throttle body, larger 93 injectors, K16 hybrid turbos, Ported exhaust manifolds, silicone boost pipework, welded coolant pipe fittings, RSS engine mounts, Sachs 890NM clutch, GT3 short shift gearshift, 9e switchable exhaust system with 100cell Cats.

All of these modifications allow the vehicle to produce over 600BHP and amazingly with very minimal turbo lag – Although the amount of power can take some getting used to – It is delivered smoothly and works very well with the 996’s traction control system.

Other items of the interior and exterior have also been altered and upgraded. The exterior has received a revamp with the fitment of a genuine GT2 front bumper, GT2 rear engine cover, carbon fibre rear spoiler, carbon fibre front grill, Carbon fibre mirror covers and a silver Porsche bonnet crest.

There has also been similar treatment on the interior of the vehicle including: retrimmed steering wheel (half leather/alcantara with red 12 o’clock band, body coloured centre console, 997 GT3 gear shift, Porsche tech rear cage, GT2 seatbelt delete covers, carbon fibre GT2 leather/Alcantara bucket seats (original seat available with colour coded backs).

All of these modifications are completely backup up with a large bundles of paperwork including a bill from “Nine Excellence” for over £20,000 which only covered the engine work. The suspension, styling and brake upgrades are likely to have cost the same again.

This car complete with all the original books, MOT’s, Spare keys and sticker under the bonnet that matches the one in the service book give piece of mind that this is a seriously high pedigreed vehicle.

Realistically priced compared to its build cost.
