A Griffith 500 supplied with the rare unmolested and un-abused provenance.
This vehicle, only 1 owner from new until 5th February 2002 when is was purchased by a Mr Colin Norris of Ramsey, Huntingdon. This vehicle was to be an integral part of his life – Used to travel to Le mans with his brother and best friend many times along with summer weekend trips. Sadly Colin passed away in 2012 due to a terminal illness leaving the vehicle to Mr James Norris (his brother) who, with his best friend Mr Steve Aston did one last trip to Le mans in the car as a tribute before deciding this year to sell this vehicle on.
It is safe to say that this vehicle has lived a pampered lifestyle. The history file with vehicle is quite remarkable – Supplied with all of the original books and documentation, 2 sets of keys old MOT certificates documenting the mileage as genuine at just 36662 miles along with several invoices for all maintenance work that has been carried out.
With this vehicle being the later variant of the Griffith it is fitted with a Serpentine Rover V8 engine, a T5 gearbox and an updated diff along with many other updates including power steering. Fitted with 4 TOYO Proxes T1-S tires with good tread depth on UNMARKED alloy wheels which compliment the untouched bodywork which remains the factory original. The well known TVR alarm fault has also recently been dealt with by the replacement on of the alarm control unit. It is safe to say that it is a opportunity that a car like this becomes available on the market.
A beautiful example. Faultless and ready to be enjoyed again. The desirable M15LGR (MY 5L GRIFF) registration also included in the sale.
