1981 TRIUMPH TR7 V8

Here we have a Triumph TR7V8 built on a brand new factory bodyshell. This build was undertaken by marque specialists TR Enterprises over 12 months and was completed in 2007. Having benefited from a full nut and bolt restoration, this vehicle is still in superb condition some 7500 miles later. A new TR8 subframe holds the 4.2 John Eales EFi fast road engine, modern 5 speed gearbox with the axle benefiting from an LSD. 4 pot vented front brake upgrade and rear disc brake conversion. Additional fuse box was added to the wiring to support the upgrades. 7x15″ genuine Minilite wheels.

Finished in Poseidon Green, an original factory colour shines as good as the day the clear over water base paint was applied. The interior is presented in it’s original tan. The dashboard has been covered in alcantara. Electric central locking, power steering is present and working correctly. Uprated suspension throughout, suitable for spirited driving but not to harsh to use everyday.

To summarise, this car presents very well, the power delivery from the hot 4.2 V8 is amazing and the exhaust note is simply superb! It can be used as a comfy tourer or indeed out on the circuits for a track day or 2…..
