1978 MG B Roadster 4 speed overdrive.

A well presented easy cruiser with nice prominence and various period and modern upgrades.

The rubber bumper MGB roadster is a great example of both classic 70’s looks and genuine usability often overlooked by its earlier chrome bumper variants.

This very well presented example is equipped with an excellent spec – built to be used daily during the summer months. Being a later car it is equipped with an alternator to aid electrical reliability – This is paired with a number of modifications to improve the drivability. These include a 45 DCOE side draft Weber carburettor, a full stainless steel exhaust system, Full Bilstein Telescopic damper conversion, front anti roll bar and 4 new mini lite style wheels with polished rims. These alterations were completed at the same time as a replacement mohair hood and professionally re trimmed front seats.

While in our ownership we have conducted a sympathetic recommissioning due to the car being in storage for some time. This included a new clutch kit, slave cylinder, master cylinder, oil change, and ignition consumables.

This spec put together with a completely rust free shell provides an excellent driving experience with added piece of mind of both the cars reliability and sustainability. All major woork has been documented in the extensive history file along with Old MOT’s and an engine spec sheet.

supplied with full wet weather gear (full and part Tonneau covers) along with a steel spare wheel and tool Kit. The mechanicals operate perfectly – No ominous knocks, bangs, or whines from the suspension or drive train – A true pleasure to drive.

This is an excellent example of how to enter budget classic motoring.
