Supplied to its first and ONLY owner (The late Mr Douglas James Collins, a Waterman from Tilbury docks) on the 18th January 1958 by “Skinners Garage” Dock road, Tilbury in Essex for £630 including number plates and delivery (original sales receipt supplied with the vehicle).
The vehicle was treasured from then on. Supplied with a comprehensive history file including many previous MOT documents which verify the mileage as being correct at just 73000. This vehicle as a rule is completely unrestored, unmolested and remains exactly how Mr Collins left it when he parked it up for the last time. The underside of the vehicle is solid and is completely original baring no evidence of any welding work having ever taken place. the engine and box remain in sound mechanical condition with the former holding very good oil pressure and the gearbox being in a good useable condition. the vehicle body work still retains its original coachwork hand painted pin stripes etc. The interior is on outstanding ORIGINAL condition showing no sign of any wear whatsoever.
