1954 Morris minor 2 door salon splitscreen –
A remarkable time warp of a vehicle. Retaining all of its originality unlike most examples currently available. This vehicle has survived 64 years without having any body repairs/welding. This vehicle was first registered 2nd December 1954 to its first owner until 1986 when it was taken to “Wright’s garage” of Calverton, Nottingham for a routine service and MOT. Sadly the owner of passed away in the time that it was in the garage which subsequently meant it was not collected. This lovely example was then left in storage until 2007 when a Mr Malty spotted the vehicle in storage and enquired further. Mr Maltby went onto purchase the vehicle from Wright’s garage and set about “recommisioning” it to its former glory. The usual area’s were such as brakes, fluids were renewed along with the ignition system before the vehicle was taken to all manor of classic car rallies and Morris Minor events.
This little Morris Minor now still retains all of its outstandingly preserved features such as its trafficator’s etc which function perfectly. The power from its Austin “A” series 803cc engine is spritely and is delivered smoothly from its 4 speed manual gearbox. Supplied on its original (and desirable) registration number, original badge bar (with badges) and completely untouched interior.
A unique opportunity to purchase a Morris Minor that has not only never been restored but that doesn’t need to be either!
